Jewellery Care

Fashion jewellery is an incredible way to add a style element to any outfit. It instantly highlights any look and makes it super trendy and chic. All of us own it and love to pair our awesome designs with various outfits but how do we keep these pieces looking nice and sparkling? Here are a few tips..
  1. Keep it dry. This is the most essential part. Fashion jewellery is made up of various kinds of metals and alloys. Most of these components tarnish or become dull on coming in contact with any sorts of liquids or sprays. So make sure you keep your jewellery away from water, soaps, detergents,  perfumes, lotions, hair sprays etc.
  2. Wear it last and remove it first. Make sure that you always put your jewellery in the end after getting dressed and putting on your makeup. That way its very easy to keep it away from all sorts of liquids and sprays. Also, you avoid getting your jewellery get stuck in clothes while wearing or removing them. Sometimes even a tiny little tug can break a delicate necklace or earring.
  3. Store it well. Storing jewellery properly goes a long way in extending its life. Make sure you dry all the pieces before keeping them away. Store pieces separately by putting them in zip lock bags and removing as much air as possible. Lay them flat in a jewellery box or a plastic container to ensure pieces don’t get entangled and different metals don’t come in contact with each other.
Hope with these tips, you can get much more wear from all your fashion jewellery pieces. With so many trends making a come back these days, who wouldn’t want to keep their awesome collection intact for the longest time possible ?.
